Hello all! Figured Id give myself an introduction so here it goes.....Moved to Salem 2 yrs ago, been looking for some gamers in the area for awhile now. Props to bnash for the site woot. I myself am an avid gamer, obsessed really. I play PC FPS mostly and would really like to make some dough one of these days doing it. For now I make a living as a groundskeeper with the county and I attend school at Chemeketa in hopes of earning a degree in psychology one of these days. Hey there! Welcome to the forum! Thanks for the props for the site. I try to keep active on the forum atleast once or twice a week. I came today and saw that you had posted.

Add me on xfire. I am rarely even on my computer during the week though. I am a true weekend warrior for sure. I am an FPS gamer. Right now its Team Fortress 2. I love that game. I played Combat Arms for awhile. But there were bugs and glitches, etc so I quit. It was fun though. I'll play if there's others interested too. I will pretty much play anything once. So I'm down with anything. Hit me up.

I would love to play tf 2 but my computer is not up to par. Im building a new one but my funds are limited so its one piece at a time here and there.

Combat arms is great it does have a problem with hackers and a few minor bugs but the development team is actively trying to fix those problems. im a staff memeber for legitgamingclub.net it is a group/forum for players who have been teamviewed and are known to be "legit" for the most part a great group of guys and gals and we can get together on most nights and play with each other for fun. i hope you give it another chance and if not then when my computer is done then we will most definately get together on some tf 2 or whatever.

Whats your current system specs? TF2 runs well on older hardware too.

amd athlon 64X2 dual core processor 3800+
1.99 ghz 2 gb ram
on board graphix ati radeon express 200

I have an older secondary system with the ati radeon express 200. It plays TF2 really well. But it has a 7950GT PCIE video card in it. Before I put the card in though, even the lowest setting everything would be like a slideshow. Does your computer have room for a PCIE/AGP card? 9500 GTs are really inexpensive for what you get.
